Our sheet metal facility has just received a brand new Coastone C9 high precision electric press brake.
Driven by electric servos rather than hydraulics, this small, ultra-accurate press brake has 10 times the accuracy of a hydraulic press brake with a repeating accuracy of +/- 0.002 mm.
Being electric, the new press is more productive as there is no hydraulic delay between cycles. It’s also greener with very low power consumption, a big positive as we work towards lowering our carbon footprint.
We have invested in this machine for forming busbars and other high precision sheet metal parts and we are confident it will be a great asset for our business moving forward as we continue to expand and invest in our future.
