Ariane Group is a joint venture between European multinational aerospace company Airbus and Safran Group, who are leaders in Europe’s space industry. The company is currently developing the Ariane 6 space rocket and Electropak Ltd are delighted to be supplying parts for this groundbreaking project. The European Space Agency are planning the inaugural launch for 2021 and, once complete, the Ariane 6 will replace the Ariane 5 rocket at a fraction of the cost, allowing double the number of launches each year.

Electropak Ltd are thrilled to be involved in this 3.6-billion-euro project as it solidifies our position as one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the space industry. Not surprisingly, Arianespace has already sold 4 flights of Ariane 6 and the initial flight will be used to deploy satellites which will provide high speed, low latency satellite-based networks.
